Hey! We haven't had a launcher update for quite some time, but we've had some pre-releases in preparation for this release - most notably fixing various small issues.

Major: This update is required if you still wish to use our launcher. Let's Encrypt has recently expired DST Root CA X3, which is used by many Electron services. Electron has published an update for this, of which required us to update.

• Various dependency upgrades for security and stability.

Notable

• The landing avatar image will now show skin overlays.
• Github Actions is now used for releases, nothing will change on the userside.
• Some minor grammatical errors have been fixed, just including full-stops.
• Server names should no longer clip through eachother when they are too long.

Hey! We haven't had a launcher update for quite some time, but we've had some pre-releases in preparation for this release - most notably introducing Microsoft Support and now a little background reskin!

Changes:

Upstream

• Various dependency upgrades for security and stability.

Notable

• Introduced Microsoft Authentication. 🎉
• Alongside the new authentication, squashed some bugs that were around.
• Updated some positions and names inside of the Settings screen. For example, 'Mods' is now 'Modpack' to reflect the additional options.
• Increased the download timeout durations by 4x. This should help resolve some timeout issues, but not by much.
• Replaced our Christmas logos with our original logos, from before the switch.
• Replaced our Christmas backgrounds with new screenshots from our Space Building Competition.
• Fixed the news alert-line always showing, even if read.
• The modpack name is now larger, with an underline to show that it's actively selected.
